Bad News Monday 08.29.11
Another reason to hate Mondays...just called a call from our travel agent...the vacation were were supposed to take in a few weeks either has to be cancelled or resheduled to next month thanks to Hurricane Irene! I'm so disappointed and flustered...was so looking foward to time away with my DH and our little guy. Ah well, could be worse I suppose...I'll keep you posted.

Freaky Friday 08.26.11
Crazy week, earthquakes and hurricanes...too much. I'm so glad this week is behind me! I'm wearing a cute new top from Old Navy today, it's called the "Going Out Blouse", it's collar-less, button up drapey blouse and it's awesome! It comes in a bunch of different colours and a few cute patterns. Worth a peek, but size up from your normal size, it's a smaller fit for some reason. Happy weekend friends! xo

I am loving blue for Fall...the cardigan I'm wearing today from Joe Fresh is a smokey blue, with cool grey undertones. I'm loving it paired with my coral polish (tips & toes! OPI Lunch at the Delhi) and it pairs so well with most colours. Loveth <3 Happy Tuesday Friends! xo

Gorgeous polish, a picture cannot do it justice! Smokey gray purple, looks amazing on the nails (and toes!)...I dare say, this will be replacing my beloved "Lincoln Park after Dark" this Fall/Winter. Worth a look!

Bought: Chanel Le Vernis Fall 2011 Quartz #525 & Graphite #529
OK, I bought 2 of the new Chanel 2011 coveted nail polishes, Quartz & Graphite. Both are lovely nail polishes with a metallic finish, thought not at all gritty. The Graphite pulls a lot of green on the nail, at least it did to my eye and against my skin tone. It applies really lovely and it extremely smooth to the touch. It wore very well for about 3 days and then began wear at the tips (do keep in mind, I'm extremely hard on my hands so this is pretty normal for me). My only issue is that I found it very hard to remove, used about 6 cotton pads and loads of remover...this is a negative in my books. The Quartz is a great cool neutral, metallic finish leans towards silver/taupe...a good "neutral" for Fall. It has a bit of oomph which lends it to not being boring. Applies OK, 2 coats covers well but I did notice some overlapping & streaking though nothing major. I think I prefer this of the 2...but I'm a bit more conservative. The new eyeliner, #70 Khaki Platine (LE) I have had for sometime already, it is very beautiful but very sheer...honestly I haven't reached for it much....I think it be lovely for the Fall months though so don't take this as a complete review just yet. Also picked up a new Laura Mercier gloss in Bare Blush. It's a YLBB shade for me, a milky taupe/nude...very pretty, but extremely nude...don't expect a lot of colour payoff. I'm a fan of the LM glosses and enjoy how they wear. Hope this helps someone! xo

I'm in love with all things Michael Kors these days...his watches (swoon Clear Acrylic Glitz!)...but this rose gold with peach crystals OMG...gorgeous! Not to mention this Indigo leather Hamilton satchel...beyond! LOL I'm sorta crazy about all this blue colour scheme for Fall <3 Take a gander at this wool coat from Anthropologie, le sigh. I also spied these new wide leg jeans from COH on the Anthro site...I don't need another pair of jeans but these could tempt me!

Ok, my DH loves him some football, there is no escaping it Sunday or Monday come Fall in my house...so, as a surprise for him, I picked myself up one of these cute ladies NFL tees from Old Navy. The design is cute and the fit is awesome, shapes in all the right places. It's regular $19.94 but I had a 20% off coupon from Facebook...so it was $4 off. |

I'm in love with the teal/cobalt colour for Fall...it's my new favourite! There's also a gorgeous coat from Anthropologie I just saw on their site...swoon, it's so pretty!!
