As promised, here are a few pics of the new Runway Pearl polish from Revlon. A LE created by Gucci Westman. As you can see from the photos, it's a very subtle mother-of-pearl finish, flashing pink and gold. It's a very easy polish to wear for daytime and definitely office appropriate. It's a lovely colour for Spring and for me, it's an origianal, I don't have anything close in my polish collection. Also, the price makes it a no brainer...cheap & cheerful. I also really like Revlon polishes in general, I find they are very easy to apply, great consistency and they dry really quickly. My only complaint is that I already noticed a small chip this morning after getting out of the shower...not the end of the world but it should be noted.

Spring has Sprung! New Revlon & Maybelline Items Spotted! 03.20.12
The new shade Runway Pearl (the whitish shade) is so pretty and a dupe for Chanel "Intermezzo" if I remember correctly...well, pretty close!
The shade far right is called "Sunbaked"...it looks so pretty in the tube but unfortunately no testers :( These 4 shades were are marked as Limited Editions.
Nothing from this Maybelline selection really blew my mind...except a really vibrant and pretty coral colour of lipstick...can't remember the name but it was really lovely. The polishes were pretty too but I can imagine easily duped.
Wrinkles!

Arm Candy 03.12.12
This is the "arm candy" I wear daily...if you knew me, you'd say the MK Clear Acrylic Glitz watch is so not me...but I LOVE it and wear it everyday...as I get older I care less how I appear to others and just want to be me. This watch spoke to me from the first. My Links of London Sweetie bracelet was a birthday gift from my dear husband last year, I've added a few charms since then, an Evil Eye and an "L" initial charm...lastly is my Tiffany bracelet gifted to me by a family member on my wedding day in "06. Each piece is hugely sentimental and lovely. I can't quite you bling!
Drugstore Haul! 03.12.12
I've heard great things about a few drugstore items and I decided to take the plunge today. First up is L'Oreals True Match foundation. I just ran out of my MUFE HD foundation in #130 and so many bloggers have give the True Match such stellar reviews I decided to pick it up in shade W4 when I saw it on sale today at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. I also got the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush in Pink Plum #40 (saw this in the recent Lucky issue, I'm a sucker!) and the Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss. I will report back in full about my thoughts on each!
I also got a few essential for Spring...Claritin, a travel sized bottle of my contact lense solution and my Garnier Nutrisse hair colour #30 Intense Dark Brown (formerly Ebony I think) to touch up my gray before heading on vacay at the end of this month. Have you tried the mousse version of the Nutrisse? I did and it did absolutely nothing for me...didn't properly cover my gray and washed out completely in the span of a week...total fail! I also managed to pop into F21 and picked up this cute stripped long sleeve tee for $10.50, you really cannot go wrong right? The had a bunch of colours and I spotted a navy strip on the way out which I just might go back for later this week. As an aside, the Eaton Centre was swarming with teens and their parents, way too busy and crowded for my liking, you've been warned.
Happy Monday Friends! xo
